The actor, who gave his voice for Bruce Wayne in Batman passed away at the age of 66.
The tragic news of the legend’s demise was confirmed in an official statement by DC on November 11, 2022. As per the statement, the actor passed away after battling with cancer.

After learning the demise of Kevin, social media is flooded with Tributes, however, many wants to know about his personal life as they learned the fact the actor was openly gay.
In an 2016 report, the New York Times, revealed that Kevin was a gay.
In the late 1980s when the actor played a role in the TV producer secretly living with AIDS. At the time, in an interview, he stated to an outlet that, “I went to so many funerals that I felt such a sense of obligation to do it right.”

Though he was openly gay, but it was only most of his fans got to know about his sexuality when he shared his story for DC Comics for Pride Month.
Nearly 6 months ago, the actor shared his personal story of Finding Batman for DC comics.
Kevin always liked to keep his personal life wrapped. It wasn’t until his death that it was revealed he was actually married.
The fact was revealed by DC Comics in a statement when they announced his passing. The statement reads, “Conroy is survived by his husband Vaughn C. Williams, sister Trisha Conroy, and brother Tom Conroy”.
However, there isn’t much information available for Kevin’s husband or how the couple met.

In his story of Finding Batman for DC comics, Kevin revealed about his life struggles that he went through after identifying as a gay man in his early years.
He wrote that, “As a gay boy growing up in the 1950s and ’60s in a devoutly Catholic family, I’d grown adept at concealing parts of myself.”
After learning the news of his demise, many of his fans and fellow artists took to their social media to pay their tributes.
Mark Hamill, who played the role of Joker opposite of Kevin’s role, penned down, “He was one of my favorite people on the planet, and I loved him like a brother.”
Meanwhile in another tweet from DCU official account, Kevin was thanked for all the memories that he had created for fans worldwide.
