No one likes online trolls.

But unfortunately, it’s something our favorite, and not so favorite, celebrities face frequently.

However, taking digs at children is absolutely pathetic and uncalled for.

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have had their fair share of online bullying, and sadly so have their kiddos

Back in January, the duo’s 12-year-old son Liam faced some unnecessary criticism over his weight and understandably, he had a heartbreaking response to the negative comments.

"Liam picked it up," Dean admitted on his "Daddy Issues" podcast with Nicky Paris and Adam Hunter.

"He said, ‘Dad, am I obese?’ I said, ‘Look buddy — there’s some sick people in the world…and they need to say bad things about people."

The former Chopped Canada host went on to tell his preteen, "Think about it, son. You have a busy life. You have school, you got sports.

"Do you think you have time to go on Instagram, scroll through the people that you’re following, and make a negative comment about somebody?’" he asked.

"No, you don’t. You don’t and if you did, you’d fill your time with something else.

"Think about how sick these people are that they have to do that," he explained.

I’d say the father taught a pretty successful course on Trolls 101.

McDermott, who also shares Stella, 11, Hattie, 7, Finn, 6, and Beau, 2, with the Beverly Hills 90210 alum, has spoken out about body-shamers in the past.

"I am absolutely horrified and disgusted by the comments being left about my children," he commented on a post from his wife at the time, where multiple users took the time to bash the family’s appearance.

"Body shaming and bullying my children??!! What is wrong with you people??!!"

Tori spoke to Us Weekly the following week about her opinions on (in her own words) the "internet cowboys".

"Celebrities have feelings and then when you cross a line and you go after children… that is just wrong and shame on you," she said.

"The thing that I hate too are these internet cowboys who have these made-up titles that they hide behind…and have private accounts.

"You want something, you have something to say, say it to my face, and tell me who you are," the understandably upset mom stated.

No one has time for such negative energy, especially this family, considering all of their additional struggles they seem to be facing.

But fortunately, McDermott took the chance to explain to sweet Liam early on just how pitiful the internet really can be.

And that people sometimes, just suck.
