Two Oklahoma men were arrested over the weekend for receiving stolen property.
On Saturday shortly after 4 p.m., Bowling Green dispatched advised of a camera tracking a stolen U-Haul westbound on East Wooster Street near Dunbridge Road.
Officers spotted a U-Haul parked in the Greenwood Center parking lot and observed a Hispanic male walk toward Circle K, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.
There was no one inside the U-Haul and a search of the area found a second male exiting a nearby restaurant.
That man was identified as Carson Lindemer; the man near Circle K was identified as David Mendiola, according to the report.
Mendiola provided a contract for the U-Haul, which expired Sept. 29. He said the contract had been extended but was unable to provide proof, according to the report.
The U-Haul was reported stolen through the Helena, Montana, Police Department.
Lindemer was entered as a missing person, but Helena police reported his welfare just needed to be checked.
Mendiola, 31, and Lindemer, 20, both of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, were taken to jail.
